Como voc\u00eas equilibram carregar esse peso e essa alegria simultaneamente quando se apresentam, tanto individualmente quanto como uma for\u00e7a unificada?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toco para todos os tipos de p\u00fablico. Todos querem dan\u00e7ar e sentir a vibra\u00e7\u00e3o da liberdade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contem-nos sobre uma noite ou momento espec\u00edfico em que perceberam que esse coletivo era mais do que apenas apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es compartilhadas \u2014 quando ele se tornou uma fam\u00edlia ou um movimento? O que estava acontecendo naquele ambiente, e o que voc\u00eas sentiram mudar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na minha primeira vez tocando em Praga, na Rep\u00fablica Tcheca \u2014 eu n\u00e3o sabia o que tocar. Enquanto observava o p\u00fablico, percebi que todos temos uma coisa em comum: todos amamos um groove que nos faz mexer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Todo DJ tem aquele disco que mudou tudo para ele. Qual \u00e9 o seu, e como ele se conecta \u00e0s suas ra\u00edzes em Chicago? E existe uma faixa que defina o que voc\u00eas constru\u00edram juntos como coletivo?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No The Playground, por volta de 1983, toquei &#8220;Can You Move&#8221; e o p\u00fablico se mexeu de um jeito que eu nunca tinha notado antes \u2014 era um groove latino. Desde ent\u00e3o, tenho tocado discos com batidas fortemente sincopadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>O som da cidade sempre foi sobre inova\u00e7\u00e3o nascida da limita\u00e7\u00e3o \u2014 fazer m\u00e1gica com recursos m\u00ednimos. Como esse esp\u00edrito &#8220;fa\u00e7a voc\u00ea mesmo&#8221; moldou seus caminhos individuais, e como unir seus recursos e conhecimentos como coletivo amplia o que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Somos um coletivo, mas somos indiv\u00edduos em nosso estilo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Quando voc\u00eas est\u00e3o atr\u00e1s das pick-ups, est\u00e3o lendo e alimentando a energia do p\u00fablico. Como seus diferentes estilos e origens se complementam quando tocam juntos, e que tipo de conversa acontece nessas trocas musicais que n\u00e3o poderia acontecer de nenhuma outra forma?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Somos muito diferentes em nossas abordagens, mas somos perfeccionistas no of\u00edcio. Discutimos desde os detalhes mais minuciosos at\u00e9 os mais profundos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A cena de Chicago enfrentou o fechamento de casas de shows, a gentrifica\u00e7\u00e3o e outros desafios. O que voc\u00eas mais temem perder sobre o ecossistema musical da cidade, e como o coletivo de voc\u00eas trabalha para preservar e proteger esses espa\u00e7os e tradi\u00e7\u00f5es para a pr\u00f3xima gera\u00e7\u00e3o?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chicago tem os p\u00fablicos mais segregados e, ao mesmo tempo, mais unidos. \u00c9 como tocar ao redor do mundo. O povo de Chicago nasce dentro da House Music. Est\u00e1 em cada fibra do seu ser\u2026 jovem ou velho, preto ou branco, gay ou h\u00e9tero. Tudo o que temos que fazer \u00e9 continuar criando e tocando House Music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Se algu\u00e9m que nunca tivesse experimentado a cultura da m\u00fasica dance de Chicago fosse a um dos eventos do coletivo de voc\u00eas, o que voc\u00eas gostariam que essa pessoa compreendesse \u2014 n\u00e3o apenas sobre a m\u00fasica, mas sobre a cidade, a cultura e a comunidade das quais voc\u00eas fazem parte?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Queremos que todos que participem entendam que Chicago \u00e9 o ber\u00e7o da House Music, o ponto How do you each see yourselves as torchbearers of that legacy, and where do you feel the responsibility to push those boundaries versus honor tradition?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being the &#8220;Originator&#8221; of House Music, I continue to push boundaries in sound, song and stage while still maintaining the essence of 3 on the floor and &#8220;feel good&#8221; music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Can you walk us through a moment in each of your careers where you felt the Chicago scene truly shaped who you became as an artist\u2014and then a moment where coming together as a collective transformed that individual identity into something bigger?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chicago is where we are from: the sense of family, the crowd, the creativity, and endless amount of energy. We came together on our will to spread that to the masses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The dance floor can be a sacred space for healing and release. What emotions or experiences from your own lives do you channel through your sets, and how has witnessing Chicago's communities respond to your music changed your understanding of what DJ'ing can do for people?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We've had the same mission from the beginning\u2026keep them dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chicago's music history is deeply intertwined with stories of resilience, particularly in Black and brown communities. How do you navigate carrying that weight and joy simultaneously when you perform, both individually and as a unified force?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I play for all types of crowds. Everyone wants dance ang feel the vibe of freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tell us about a specific night or moment where you realized this collective was more than just shared gigs\u2014when did it become a family or movement? What was happening in that room, and what did you feel shift?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My first time playing in Prague, Czech Republic-I didn't know what to play. As I watched the crowd I realized that we all have ine things in common, we all love a groove that will make us move!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Every DJ has that one record that changed everything for them. What's yours, and how does it connect to your Chicago roots? And is there a track that defines what you've built together as a collective?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At The Playground, around 1983 I played &#8220;Can You Move&#8221; the crowd moved In a way I hadn't noticed before- it was Latin groove<br>I've been playing Records that are heavy in syncopation ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The city's sound has always been about innovation born from limitation\u2014making magic with minimal resources. How has that DIY spirit shaped your individual paths, and how does pooling your resources and knowledge as a collective amplify what's possible?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are a collective but we are individuals in our style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When you're behind the decks, you're reading and feeding energy to a crowd. How do your different styles and backgrounds complement each other when you play together, and what conversations happen in those musical exchanges that couldn't happen any other way?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are so different in our approach, but we are perfectionists of the craft. We discuss the most minute details to the most profound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"9\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chicago's scene has faced venue closures, gentrification, and other challenges. What do you fear losing most about the city's musical ecosystem, and how does your collective work to preserve and protect those spaces and traditions for the next generation?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chicago has the most segregated and the most together crowds all at once. It's like playing all over the world. The people of Chicago are born into House Music. It's in every fiber of their being\u2026 young or old, black or white, gay or straight.
